Desert Sky Montessori is a 501(c)(3) organization governed by a Board of Directors. The volunteer board consists of parents, educators, and professionals whose time and talents greatly contribute to our school.

The board's major responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining focus on the school’s vision, mission, and policies

  • Hiring, supporting, and evaluating the Head of School

  • Collaborating with the Strategic Planning Committee to set the strategic direction of the school

  • Ensuring the fiduciary health of the school

INTEGRATED PROGRAMS PLAN

Welcome! This is your opportunity to view the Desert Sky Montessori Integrated Programs (IP) Plan for 2025-27 plus learn more about the whole Integrated Programs Plan process. What exactly is Integrated Programs? It is an approach by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) to align and integrate several state and federal educational investments that previously required separate budgeting, tracking and reporting. The goal is to simplify both planning and budgeting.
