Before and After School Club
Desert Sky Montessori public charter school in Bend, Oregon is pleased to offer a Before & After School Enrichment Club for our students who are enrolled full time in our school. The Before & After School Enrichment Club program is designed to be consistent with Montessori and public school expectations and protocols.
Our before and after school programs are an extension of the small, intimate community that makes our school so special. Whether enjoying free play or joining one of our enriching after school activities, children benefit from a safe, structured environment and the opportunity to learn and play with kids across different age levels.
Before School Club
Before School Club runs from 7:30 – start of school day. Children will have free choice of activities and materials as they join their teachers in their classroom. Parents are asked to park and walk their children in through the front door.
After School Club
Our After School Club runs from the end of the school day – 6:00 pm daily.
The program is designed to support your child’s daily curriculum and enrich their cognitive, emotional, social, physical, and language skills. Time spent in the afterschool program is time for playing, problem solving in a social context, bonding, discovering new friendships, cherishing the company of others, indulging the imagination, creating art, talking, laughing, learning and more!
Parents must park and meet their child at the gate.
Schedule
3:00 to 3:30 Snack and Circle Time (students enjoy snacks and leftover lunch brought from home)
3:30 to 5:00 Outside adventures, art projects, individual inquiry learning, and more!
5:00 to 6:00 Quiet and cozy time as our group size gets smaller and we wrap up our day.
Club Fees
Before School Club Rate: $95 per month per student
After School Club Rate: $220 per month per student
*Fees are calculated on an annual basis and split into 10 equal payments. Invoices will be sent on the first of every month, with the first payment due on September 1st and the last on June 1st. Payment will be considered late after the 5th and a $25 late payment fee will be assessed to your account. A late pick-up fee is assessed at $1 per minute for pick-ups after closing at 6:00 p.m. Rates are not prorated for school breaks, sick days or holidays.
